I am feeling so thankful this Good Friday. God has given us this little tiny baby boy to love and take care of and recieve so much joy from. And I am having a hard to even imagining what it would have been like for God to sacrifice his only son so that a bunch of screwed up people who have basically spit in His face can have life abundantly. I don't deserve the kind of love that happened on the cross but I am so so greatful for it.

OH, i have just the recipe :)
Just eyeball it ...
about 2 tablespoons or so of aquaphor.
about 1 tablespoon or so maalox.
It's pretty hard to mix so what I did was put it in a little ziploc baggie and mashed it around real good, it mixes better when it warms up too! Snip a hole out of one of the corners and squeeze it into a designated butt-cream container, or directly on his bottom. :)
Ava's pediatrician also suggested putting the maalox on first with a cotton ball, letting it dry, then slathering aquaphor on top of that. I think either way worked equally as good. :)
Another product that works MIRACLES is Triple Paste. Super thick and really soothing on baby bums. It's kinda pricey, but amazing stuff--its near all the other baby butt creams at any store.
Another thing that seemed to help was pouring some baking soda (about 2 tablespoonfuls) into her bath water. I was told to use cool water and not warm...hated to do that, but she didn't seem to mind!
Hope these tips help! Diaper rashes are no fun!!
