Dr. Googly Eye

I have a googly eye.

I know you're shocked at hearing this news. I know I know I hide it really well in my photos. BUT..... The eye Dr. yesterday said I need glasses so I don't have a googly eye my whole life. I guess she's right.... the googly eye may get old after a while. Plus Daddy tells me my momma might be the prettiest girl around but since I can't see all that well most girls seem pretty to me. I guess once I get my glasses I'll have to draw my own conclusions.

I tried on lots of frames yesterday trying to find the perfect pair. Their were blue ones and gold ones and brown ones and round ones and square ones.... and after all those ones I was really tired of trying on frames.... like REALLY tired of it..... Like screaming and kicking and spitting my binki at the nice man who kept trying to put them on my face. (Dear nice glasses man... sorry bout that... when a boys got a nap time a boys gotta nap).

Until finally my momma found a pair that she said were very "distinguished". Now since my vocabulary doesn't include this word yet I think by the smiles she was giving me and how cute she said I looked that distinguished is a good thing.... it sounds an awful lot like disguisting ( I know that word because that is what I thought of rice cereal at first). But hopefully once they get here my fans will like my new goggles.

She also said I am going to look very smart.... I don't really understand how a pair of goggles makes you look smart. I mean how can you get more smart than rolling over all the time and sitting up and laughing and grabbing things and pulling and smiling? I mean I'm on the verge of genius I Q and she thinkings glasses is what is making me smart??!!?!?! What does a baby have to do to get some attention? GOSH. I guess getting glasses.

So I'll have to take my glasses and become a Dr. some day. That will show her how smart I really am.

As soon as they get here I'll post some pics of me in my goggles.... can't disappoint the fans.

Heres lookin at you,

Eli D. Seed Googly Eye MD

P.S. Momma is a little sensative bout my needing glasses.... so DON'T say anything stupid.... I'm warning you. She can get a little crazy. I've seen it. And So has daddy.

I can't wait to see what you picked out. So sorry you have to go through all of this. I am CONVINCED he is going to look precious beyond words, but I totally understand how you are struggling with this.
