This year for spring break we took the kiddos down to Nana and Grampas lake house at Lake Barkley. It wasn't really warm enough to go on the lake but we sure did have a blast going on a hike, going swimming every day, playing and checking out all the boats a the marina! Grampa came to meet us while we were there too and took us to see some buffalo at a state park they have there!! The car ride there made Dave and I realize what a fantastic invention a car DVD player is..... which we do not have.... But we had so much fun on the trip that Eli and Jude both slept for four hours of the car ride home. Eli had fallen asleep before we even got out of the resort!! I'm sure that Lake Barkley will hold many adventures and memories for our family :).
