Christmas decorating

We have a family tradition of having a hors-de-vors party while we put up all our Christmas decorations! This year Nana and Grampa were here (since we decorated the day after Thanksgiving!)
All of the ornaments on our tree are hand made by Dave's Grandmother Susan Stotzer. She passed away a few years ago and it is so sweet to be able to celebrate her each Christmas as we hand her "ornta mens"as Eli says.
It is also awesome that her cross-titched ornaments are very unbreakable.....
Elijah's character has something about it that likes things to be "just right". I have no idea where he gets that from!! But it was so sweet to watch him decorate the tree hanging each ornament with care.
Jude was really thinking we were crazy for bringing a tree in our house. He was mostly interested in the food :)

"ooooooo..... ahhhhhh"
I'm posting this mostly because this is Dave's dumb picture face. And it appears that Juder has one too.
There are my handsome guys.
Of course Eli's favorite part of the tree is the train that daddy sets up to go around the bottom. He literally sat and watched it go around and around for probably and hour.

Good food ma!
Our Christmas mantle.

I called this our manger massacre. It seems as though the only survivor was the blessed mother.  And don't ask about why there was a white elephant at the party.
