the evolution of a walk

 We so so love the downtown library. They have the most fantastic play area and fun story times and in the Christmas season they have a fun train display too! The boys both loved it!. AND our sweet little boy decided that he should take his very first steps there! He was walking from the train set to the kitchen and took about 5 steps. Jude was around 13.5 months at the time. And that was it. He didn't do it again for weeks. I'm not sure exactly what got into him that morning but he just really didn't feel the need to walk again, at least in my presence. I say that because on a few occasions I walked into the room to find Jude standing all by himself with a grin and then immediately sitting down when momma walked into the room?!?!? I really think he just enjoyed being the baby and being carried!!

 So finally after two months of nothing in the walking department while on an Oh-so-fun morning at Cosi with some great friends Juder decided that it was time. Time to be on the move! he was just at 15 months old.

 Oh my little sweetness. You are just precious to me. Smiley boy.

Elijah is so proud of little Jude. He keeps saying Jude is bigger now momma!!! I told Eli that when Jude is bigger that they would get to share a room and sleep in bunk beds together! Of course the day Juder took his first steps Elijah shouted, "Momma Jude can share a bed with  me now!" So sweet. 

This last video doesn't have sound I'm not sure why but this dance move that Jude does cracks us up! His "donkey dance".
