Eli at 3.5 years is saying some hilarious things:
He has really gotten into singing loudly to his music in the car. One of his favorite songs to sing right now is "For He is the Rocky Turtle!" This song is actually less about a shelled reptile and more about an Eternal Rock Jesus. "For He is the Rock E-ter-nal". Love it.
Eli is also continuously talking about how he is going to go on dates with his best girl friend Ava. He insists that he must wear a tie on his date and that he must buy Ava a pink flower, "Because girls love it when boys bring them flowers." Point Daddy.
Tie wearing blackjack playing cutie. Here Eli said to daddy, "Look at my blackjack dad!"
Whenever Eli and Jude get into a scuffle I make them sit indian style and hold hands and ask for forgiveness and tell each other that, "You are my best friend." Then give each other a hug and a kiss. Lately Eli has been saying "I don't want you to kiss me Juder because you have a lot of slobber."
Transitioning to Jude; during these discipline times when the boys are making up it is the cutest darn thing to hear my near two year old say the words, "You forgive me Eyi?" and "You my best fwend brudder."
Jude has had a massive vocabulary burst in the last few weeks. Saying all sorts of cute things like, "Hi my Daisydog!" (Daisy and dog are always one word for him...funny). He also loves to jump from things, look up and see if I saw it and say, "You saw dat mama?!"
One day while waiting for daddy to make a quick trip into the grocery store I caught Jude massively digging for a booger in the back seat. I asked him what he was doing and he said, "Gettin my boogie." About 10 minutes later I hear a cry from the backseat, "MY GOT IT!!!!" As he held his finger up proudly.....
My constantly moving little superheroes!
