He looks so big in this picture! I cannot believe how fast time has flown by with this little one. He is also looking an aweful lot like his daddy here too :).
Jude wanted a BATMAN party for his birthday as that was what he got to be for Halloween this year! So we did a superheroes themed party and invited his friends to dress up in thier best superheroes outfits and come join the backyard fun. It was chilly but sunny and we all really enjoyed the treehouse and backyard cookout style in November!
We played a pin the mask on a superhero game and also had a spiderman piñata! It was really fun and Jude definately knew the party was for him the whole day.
He definately understood about opening presents and loved picking each one out of the bags.
But I must say that his favorite part of the whole day was having everyone sing happy birthday just to him. He was beyond thrilled to blow out his two candles!
And this grin is evidence that he had an all around wonderful birthday party!
My sweet little Juder. You are just that... sweet as can be. Loving tender and snuggly. But at the same time you are rough and tumble full of life and 100% boy. You go at life 100% which often scares the pants off momma as you have little fear of anything. I know that you will do big things in your life because you do not let anything hold you back. My prayer is that Jesus will guide your heart and you will do life passionately for the good of others. Your smile is infectious my little one and the hugs and snuggles you give so freely are spirit lifting. I pray that you will keep the soft hearted spirit that you have about you for life and that as you grow in size (Jude is definately built more like his daddy! Going to be groomed for a linebacker!) and maturity that you do not let this world harden your heart. As I pray over you my littlest boy I hear Gods call on your heart to be fearless and strong but with a gentle kindness that is so endearing that others are drawn to you. You will lead and love others well. I am so blessed to be your momma.
