Two Months old

Two months in my chair!

Eli is two months old today and I cannot believe that the time is flying by so quickly!! My precious baby is getting big! So far two months milestones have been:

Eli has much more head control, he holds his head up for a while when being held and especally when he is on his tummy he tries to look around.

He is sleeping for two four to five hour stretches at night and has slept for six hours straight. (This was a rare occasion :) :). He goes to bed at 10 pm. We have one nightime feeding around two or three and he then falls right back to sleep afterwards. He usually wakes up around seven or eight. My favorite time of day is when momma is too tired to actually get up for the day so I bring Eli into our bed for a few more zzzzs in the morning. He is a great cuddler!

He is holding onto a rattle if you put it in his hand. He gets really proud of himself when he shakes it.

He LOVES his brutus buckeye mobile. He coos and smiles in his crib when I turn the mobile on.

He started smiling at his mommy. He has really only done it a handful of times but when he does I turn into a blubbering idiot :).

He also LOVES bathtime. He can be screaming bloody murder but when that water touches him he is calm and happy. (Except when daddy tried to give him a zerbert while getting bathed. He didn't like that so much ).

He takes three naps a day one early morning nap four about an hour and half, one afternoon nap for three to four hours, and an evening nap for an hour and a half.

In the evening his favorite thing to do is sit tummy to tummy with daddy and suck on his bink. He is happy as a clam just looking and cooing at his daddy. (While this is going on momma is still a blubbering idiot, I can't help it. I fall more and more in love with my husband seeing how much he loves his son :))

Too cute!
