9 months

Look at me go!!! I suppose since Jude will be 10 months tommorrow I had better get around to posting his 9 month photo shoot!!

At nine months Juder has learned so MUCH!!! He learned to first army crawl and then cast crawl..... more on that later.... and then real deal crawl and now he has master cruising and is even moving on to trying to go up stairs!!!!! Geeze I forgot how quickly all these things happen. I feel like I went to bed one night and I woke up and my baby was moving all over the place!

Jude broke his radius during our vacation to Glen Lake by rolling off the bed and catching himself with his arm. This was just the same week that he had started learning to crawl! So he improvised and did what we called the cast crawl which looked somthing a-kin to the 90's dance "the worm". It surved its purpose and he got to where he wanted to go.

And he was darn happy about it too!

 This little boy has definately stolen his mama's heart. I love you Juder bear.

 Lookout I'm on the move!

 See this dripping!!! And my face here is exactly about how I feel about teething.... not good. This month Jude has been not so champion sleeper. He has been waking up often in the night and we think it is due to his two bottom teeth coming in.

 During Jude's 9th month we trasistioned him from baby food to table food! And this face is about how he feels about it!!!! HE LOVES TO EAT! Some favorite foods are cheese and yogurt and he loves blueberries. Must run in the family. He did NOT like his first attempt at broccolli and nearly gagged on it..... His veggie loving mama will be trying that again! He is still nursing but only about 3 times a day.

Oh sweet sweet  boy. We love you so.

Jude 6.5 month

My sweet little Juder-bear is already 7 months old!!!!! Like he is sitting up and starting to scoot and roll and move around. Like he isn't a little tiny baby anymore........... cue blubbering momma cry.
I was waiting to do a six month photo shoot with him until he could sit up and he waited until one week before his seven month to master the sitting up skill. So here is what we got :)

 He is the sweetest little guy. Constantly smiling and happy...except when he is hungry. The boy likes to eat :). He is nursing four to five times a day now and going to town on some baby food! He loves his brother and is always laughing when Eli is talking to him.  He is doing lots of baby babbles and this month seems to have learned the BA sound bababababa is all we ever hear :). A favorite food has been pears, and I don't think we like green beans too much, although he will really eat anything I feed him.  He is sleeping like a champ. We put him down anywhere from 630-8pm for bed and he will sleep until 7am. Taking two naps morning and afternoon and an occasional early evening nap every once in a while. I'm guessing him to weigh about 18lbs. We love this little guy lots :)

Juder Bear 5 months

Holy Cow! I took Jude's 5 month chair pics right on the 2nd of the month and am just now getting around to posting them! Busy busy we have been around here. Jude is doing so well! Getting really big and I would guess around 16 lbs! He started sleeping through the night again! For a few weeks there he was wanting to get up in the middle of the night for a feeding much to momma's dismay! But we are back on track and sleeping from about 10pm - 6am! My favorite time is when he wakes up around 6 and comes into momma and daddy's bed for snuggles. It is our special time together. He is the smilinest baby I have ever seen and usually his smiles go along with a cute little giggle. He is loving being in his excersaucer and is really starting to jump jump jump! He hasn't quite gotten the hang of the johnny jump up yet though we have been trying him in it. His spitting up is also getting a bit better. Although I am quite certain that we are working on some teeth as the drool is crazy and his hands are constantly in his mouth. He has also found his favorite "lovie" he has a little puppy that sings Jesus loves me that Gigi got him and he really likes to snuggle that when he is falling asleep. To sweet! So much JOY these boys bring to me.
p.s. Oma got Jude this cute outfit because she thought that Grampa would like it!

Bathing Beauties

My boys just adore being in the bath tub! Elijah has loved the bath since he was about six months old taking a bath in the kitchen sink. And Jude has really enjoyed his baths since his very first one! (Second time mama alert, he possibly enjoys them so much because they are so few and far between?....) Anyhoo I just wanted to capture the essence of bathtime at my house. A ton of smiles. A lot of laughs and eight sweet sweet cheeks.

First Cereal!

My babies don't apparently like cereal much. Jude pretty much took one bite and procedes to spit the rest out. Even still he hasn't gotten much cereal in there I don't think! Ah well. I'm sure once the veggies and fruits start he will like it !

He is the smilingest baby! So sweet. He just loves to be smiled at and return the favor :) Love him.

Jude 4 months chair

Jude the Dude.

At four months old our sweet Juder is getting to be such a big boy! He is rolling over from his front to his back and enjoying tummy time much more that he can really hold his head up and look around. He is also starting to grab and hold his little rattle like toys. His favorite thing in the world is by far his big brother who can really get him going with belly laughs when he talks to him. Jude has not been doing so great on the sleep department. It seems that every night between 3am and 4am he really starts to miss his momma and will cry out for a good snuggle. He doesn't really want to eat at this time just be held and rocked..... which is so sweet.... but momma isn't exactly in the best of moods at 3am so hopefully we can get these snuggles in some other time of the day!!! He started eating rice cereal just last week and is doing ok with that! I will post some pictures of his first rice cereal experience. At the Dr. this month he weighed 14lb and 11 oz and was 24.5 inches long! Getting big! :)

Jude 3 month chair

At three months old our Juder is a sweet sweet boy. Sleeping through the night like a champ from 10pm to about 5am. He still eats about every three hours and the boy is a chunk! I'm guessing he would weigh in at around 14lbs! Super sweet always giving smiles and he even gave his first belly laugh this week. At his daddy of course! Eli is still being so sweet with the baby. I love it when Jude is fussing Eli will come over and say, "OK baby don't cry!".

Jude dedication

We had our sweet littlest boy dedicated at church this morning. Dave's uncle Andy (Jude Andrew's namesake) came up for the night and came with us and said such a sweet prayer over our son. Not sure if it was the lack of sleep (as I had worked the night before) or just praying over my sweet baby but this verse that Andy read really brought me to tears: Psalm 22: 9-10
"Yet you brought me out of my mothers womb, You made me trust in you, even at my mothers breast. From birth I was cast on you; from my mothers womb you have been my God."

We love you with a BIG love Jude, but we only love becuase He loved us first.

Cosi fun

My friends Molly and Erin and I and our kiddos headed to Cosi last week. WHAT a blast little Eli had. That place is a fantastic winter activity. We might even think about getting a pass for next year!

 

 This water loop was by far Jackson and Eli's favorite thing!! So fun to watch these little buddies play together.

 I loved watching his little wheeles turn!!

Don't you worry little Jude had a blast too flirting with miss Erin and Sophia :)

Neglected second child

My poor second child. I feel like at least half of his day is spent sitting in this bouncy chair.

The good part is, he really has a thing for this racoon. Love those smiles!

Jude 2 month chair pictures

 Sweet little Juder-bear is two months old already!! In some ways it seems like it has flown by and in others it feels like he has been a part of our family forever. He just fits in so well with whats going on in our little family :).

 He is growing so well and I don't have his two month stats yet because we go to the Dr. next week but I'm sure he is above 12lbs. He is a solid little guy :).

 He is smiling and cooing and kicking and moving his little legs and arms. I love it when they get so excited but all they can do is kick and squirm. So helpless and so precious. He smiles like crazy (Daddy says mostly at his momma. As he seems to already be quite the momma's boy).

 He also started sleeping through the night this week!! Yesterday he slept from 10pm to 6am and last night from 10pm to 5am. I'm hoping it is a trend as I go back to work this weekend and it breaks my heart to think of him waking up and me not being there. Although he has quite the capable daddy to comfort him.

I added this picture in because I remember Eli having this same outfit on at around two months: See Here. They are still very close looking although I think Jude is starting to get his own look.

We are so happy with our two boys. Life is good!
