Telling the parents

So we told our parents about the pregnancy last weekend and it was lots of fun!! My good friend Chrissy and I (well mostly her but some me) made an awesome cake :

We planned on having a nice steak dinner while my parents (oma and opa) and Dave's parents (nana and grampa) were staying with us over labor day weekend. Unfortunately we had some pregnancy turbulence and I ended up on bedrest that night. But we ended the night cutting the cake and all parties involved were quite excited!!

All ended well when on Tuesday we got to see our little seedling and it's beating heart on the ultrasound. God is amazing in his creation. I cannot believe he is piecing together another human in me. Creepy.
