Incase you hadn't heard Columbus was hit with crazy winds as an aftermath of the hurricane down south. Trees were down everywhere and lots of people were without power. We (praise God) Got our power back today! But I learned quite a bit in our "camping in our own house" adventure:
1. Toasters were an amazing invention. What did they do before toasters? How did they have toast?
2. I used to be creeped out by walking into a house without any lights on, (like the boogey man was going to jump out and get me?) Living in the dark cures this fear.
3. Candle light looses its "luster" when you have to eat, shower, sleep, find the stairway, find the kitchen, find the car keys with it.
4. Having a budget plan for electrical stinks when you don't have power for consecutive days. It wasn't even like I could say "well, at least we are saving money on our power bill." Nope it won't even matter it will just get folded in to the budget plan.
5. Facebook is really an addiction you can go through withdrawl from.
6. Facebook is also a huge waste of time.
7. Tv watching is also a huge waste of time.
8. The Shack is a great book.
9. Who needs hairdryers? I think I've pulled off this ah-la natural look I've been rocking for a week fairly well. Will this be what my mommy hair looks like?
10. Trying to "be still and know that I am God" is really stinking hard. Like what does that look like exactly? (I'd love to hear how God speaks to you when you are still in God's presence)

I'm proud to say that Henry is your first follower. I imagine that Seedling will be a lil' Buckeye like Henry. Buckeye babies are the cutest!
